Description:

"Wild Horse Turquoise" sculpture was inspired by Carol at the Firedworks Gallery in Alamosa, Colorado. She saw my 4" turquoise cross pendant and asked me if I could make the same thing, but larger, wall sized. Of course I can! Then I went home to try and figure out how I was going to back up that statement. It took a bit of experimentation, but the end result was stunning. Next, I wanted to stretch the limits of this new process a bit, try something even larger. A horse of course! I love the way he turned out. And he is finished on both sides, so he looks gorgeous from every angle.

Creating these wall sculptures is not a simple process, but it is enjoyable and I love how it keeps evolving.  I love the way these pieces look. They always get noticed and commented on in my studio.
