Description:

"Turquoise Cross" was inspired by Carol at the Firedworks Gallery in Alamosa, Colorado. She saw my 4" turquoise cross pendant and asked me if I could make the same thing, but larger, wall sized. Of course I can! Then I went home to try and figure out how I was going to back up that statement. It took a bit of experimentation, but the end result is stunning. And I really love how the base looks. This sculpture is finished on all sides, so it looks gorgeous from all directions.

Creating these sculptures is not a simple process, but it is enjoyable and I love how it keeps evolving.  I love the way these pieces look. They always get noticed and commented on in my studio.
